Visit existing suppliers

You have a list. We find out which ones are real.

A supplier you found online is a hypothesis, not a factory. We verify each one, then run the visits so you meet the production manager instead of a sales rep.

The process

What we do with your list.

A list of ten names on a screen is not a plan. It is raw material — the work is turning it into a shortlist you can act on.

  1. 01

    Organise the list

Names, addresses, links, screenshots — whatever you have gets turned into one list with one format. Duplicates and dead entries fall out here.

    What we check

    • One list, one format
    • Duplicates and dead links removed
  2. 02

    Run the five checks

Registration, scope, capacity and the floor, before anyone books a flight. A list of ten often becomes a shortlist of five.

    What we check

    • Licence and scope checked
    • Address verified against the registry
    • Failures recorded, not quietly dropped
  3. 03

    Shortlist the survivors

The ones worth visiting, grouped by cluster so the route does not backtrack. Each survivor is tied to the check that passed.

    What we check

    • Grouped by cluster
    • Each entry tied to a passed check
  4. 04

    Run the visits

Appointments with the decision-maker, the interpreter on the floor, and the same visit structure for every supplier so they compare.

    What we check

    • Decision-maker confirmed present
    • One structure across suppliers
  5. 05

    Written report

Every supplier visited and rejected, with the check that removed each one — including the ones you liked but we did not.

    What we check

    • Visited and rejected documented
    • The removing check named for each

The five checks are the same as the vetting method — the page spells them out step by step.

What this covers

Your shortlist, verified and visited.

Included

  • 01.Registration and scope checks on your existing list before booking
  • 02.Appointments made with the decision-maker, not only the sales contact
  • 03.A route that groups your suppliers by cluster, so you do not backtrack
  • 04.Interpreting with the technical vocabulary your product actually uses
  • 05.A written report covering every supplier visited and rejected

The walk-through itself follows the on-the-floor checklist.

When it fails

What happens when a supplier does not pass.

  • Trading company revealedThe five checks exist to separate a real factory from a well-presented one. We tell you before you waste a day on it, and the report records which check removed them.
  • Capacity does not holdThe equipment count does not support your volume. We say so, rather than letting you find out after the deposit.
  • Decision-maker missingA visit with no one who can say yes is recorded as a failed visit, not quietly marked as "completed".

How to tell a factory from a trading company

A sample day

One day visiting your own suppliers.

  1. 01

    08:30 · Pick-up

A driver who knows the industrial parks, heading to the first supplier on your list.

  2. 02

    10:00 · Supplier A

The walk-through. This is where the catalogue photo either matches the floor or it does not.

  3. 03

    12:30 · Working lunch

Near the industrial zone, reviewing the morning and adjusting the afternoon.

  4. 04

    14:00 · Supplier B

The second visit, run on the same structure so the two compare.

  5. 05

    17:00 · Same-day notes

Written while fresh, so nothing depends on memory three days later.

  6. 06

    18:00 · Debrief

Thirty minutes on what we saw, what we distrust and what the next day should change.

That day runs in whichever cluster your suppliers sit in.

Before and after

What happens to the list.

  • The list you sendA dozen names from Alibaba — a mix of real factories, trading companies and outdated listings.
  • After the checksFive worth visiting, the rest removed with a named reason — the same five checks that remove a bad supplier from any list.
  • After the visitTwo or three you can actually move forward with, plus a written record of the others and why.

The difference

How this is different from factory matching.

  • You already know whoMatching is about finding; this is about verifying. The list is the starting point, not the output.
  • The list is your assetWe organise and check it, not replace it. The names you bring are the names we work with.
  • The report is the pointWhat you take back to whoever signed off the trip — evidence, not impressions.

What we don't do

What we will not do

We verify and host the visit. We do not invent a relationship that is not there.

  • We do not sign contracts or move money on your behalf.
  • We do not pass a casual visit off as a formal audit — if you need one, we coordinate the right specialist.
  • We do not guarantee a supplier performs six months later; we tell you what we saw on the day.

Questions about visiting your own suppliers.

I found my suppliers on Alibaba. Can you visit them?

Yes, and bringing your existing shortlist is one of the most useful versions of the trip — including when the result is telling you to drop half of it.

What if one of my suppliers turns out to be a trading company?

We tell you before you waste a day on it. The five checks exist exactly to separate a real factory from a well-presented one, and the report records which check removed them.

Do you need my full list up front?

Send whatever you have — names, addresses, links, a screenshot. We will organise it, run the checks and tell you which are worth visiting in person.

Will you tell my supplier who you are?

We are clear about who we are and who we are working for. We are there to verify, not to negotiate behind your back — the supplier knows you sent us.

What if I want to keep some suppliers private?

Send what you want checked. We will not contact anyone you have not asked us to check, and the list does not leave your trip.

What do I get after the visits?

A written report, one entry per supplier, with what was verified on the floor and what failed. It is the evidence you take back to whoever signed off the trip.

What if my list is only one supplier?

We check it just as carefully, and we usually add a comparison — a single supplier is a single point of failure, and a second option is what makes the first one negotiable.

Can you check a supplier without visiting?

The registration checks can be done remotely; the floor check cannot. We will tell you what each one gives you, and what you are giving up by skipping the visit.

Next step

Send your supplier list.

We will check who is real and who is worth a visit, before you book a flight.
